The Week of 9/9

Dear Families,

What a delightful week it has been at our preschool! Our students have been busy with many activities that brought them joy and fostered their learning. They painted, drew, glued, taped, cut, wrote, traced, took turns, listened to stories, ate, lined up, held hands, followed directions, responded, created, brainstormed, designed, built, tested, pretended, shared, and cared. And yes, they even managed to stay awake (haha)! All these activities were conducted per our class expectations: Listen, Try, Care.

Your guidance is invaluable as your little ones continue to adjust to the rules and expectations at preschool. Your role in reinforcing the importance of making good choices cannot be overstated. And remember, your child always counts on your warm embrace at the end of the day, as your ears are eager to hear about their adventures.

Ordering lunch is a work in progress. You might want to help your child practice carrying a small tray with 3-4 items so they can showcase—and fine-tune—their balancing skills. 🙂

Remember that lunchtime is at 11:15. The morning can be long for children to wait if they eat very little or no breakfast before school. Please ensure your preschooler has a full tummy before they arrive at school, as their little bodies can burn those calories quickly. We cannot accommodate finishing breakfast in school, so they must eat before coming to class.

Please also know that several essential documents are in the Friday Folders sent home. One is a permission slip—make sure you return this document to us on Monday. Another is a flyer about a FREE Child Safe Kit. Please return your order card, as the class with the most orders wins a pizza party, and the school gets money for each card returned!

Your support is invaluable as we guide your children through their preschool journey. We are truly grateful for your trust and look forward to continuing this beautiful journey together.

Enjoy the weekend,
Annie
