Hello! My name is Annie Kucharcik, and I am so excited to be a part of the Coronado Preschool community. I’ve been a certified educator for over 25 years, with the privilege of teaching in both the U.S. and Europe – an experience that has given me a deep appreciation for diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.

My journey began with my first teaching degree in Hungary, followed by my U.S. license and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Rutgers University (Go Scarlet Knights!), and a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. In addition to preschool I’ve taught students from kindergarten all the way through 8th grade, but the little ones are my absolute favorite! I believe that teaching is a true calling – a profound work of heart dedicated to helping children grow into caring, respectful, and knowledgeable citizens of the world.

I consider it a tremendous honor to guide your children during these formative years. In our classroom, learning is a joyful adventure filled with hands-on activities, new discoveries, and the kind of achievements and friendships that last a lifetime.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and our three children. As a family, we love to hike, work on craft projects, play the piano, and cook together. I also have a passion for camping, writing, reading, all things vanilla, and relaxing on sunny afternoons on the patio!
