The Week of 2/17

Dear Families,

It was so good to connect with you at conferences! I enjoyed sharing all the wonderful skills and abilities your adorable littles are mastering. It’s truly a joy to see them take the next steps on their learning journey, whether heading toward kindergarten or becoming well-respected Senior VIPs in their second year of preschool! 😀 Your children are doing amazing things, and it’s a testament to your support and involvement in their education.

In addition to attending conferences, we also appreciate your support with the CD project. It was a fantastic experience and lovely seeing so many families working together to create something fun, creative, and artistic with your children! Students also had a ton of fun earlier as they handed out their valentines – it was so beautiful to see that very special twinkle in their eyes whenever they got yet another card, gift, or treat. Thank you for all your support with that as well.

Next week, we’ll continue our joint unit of Buildings/Wheels and will take a look at how wheels move. We will explore how to make our wheels and learn about important concepts such as axles, wind turbines, blades, and pulleys. As we expose children to new learning, they can pair/group up in games and other activities to help them build positive relationships with peers and practice cooperation and communication skills. We will continue engaging children with activities that support and challenge their skills and abilities and continue working on skills that require creative thinking and problem-solving.

Again, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for all your help. Your support is what makes our preschool community so special, and our journey with your children would not be the same without your wonderful partnership.

Enjoy the long weekend!

Kindly,

Annie
