There’s a special magic in the early years, a time when the world is brand new and every day is a great adventure. But behind every curious question and every messy art project, there are heroes working their own kind of magic. They aren’t heroes with capes and secret identities; they’re the ones with glue sticks, books, and kind words –  the Superheroes of Preschool: the patient teachers and paraprofessionals, the supportive administrators, the dedicated volunteers, and the loving families who build the foundation for a lifetime of learning. With open hearts and endless encouragement, they teach our little ones the importance of sharing, the joy of discovery, and the courage to be themselves. They are the true architects of tomorrow – one small hand at a time.

Ms. Nicole Kronberger – Our ECIP (Early Childhood Instructional Partner)

“Hi! My name is Ms. Nicole, and I am so excited to have you in preschool! I am so honored to be able to teach in Jeffco as a graduate of Jeffco Public schools who grew up close-by in the Powderhorn area. I have been teaching for 12 years– and this will be my 8th in Coronado Preschool. Outside of school I love being outside, and doing lots of DIY, and crafts. I also love plants like succulents, and air plants.”

Ms. Abigail Breitenbach – Paraprofessional

Hi Families! My name is Abigail Breitenbach (the children call me Ms. Abi), and I am the new Para in Ms. Annie’s and Ms. Nicole’s Preschool Classroom. I have my degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.
During my time there, I was initiated into Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority under the National Panhellenic Council. With my sorority sisters and other local volunteers, we supported women and children who survived Domestic Violence.  We held fundraising events, donation drives, and cared for children as their mothers jump-started new lives.
I also volunteered in Medical Missions in rural parts of Mexico, providing care for children as their family members were seen and cared for by volunteer Physicians.
Professionally, I worked for a bit selling Life and Health Insurance and then started my way into Medical School until I got pregnant with my first child.
Flash forward to today: I now have five children of my own – some of you may know them or see them around here at Coronado. I spent the last 10 years as a stay-at-home Mom, raising them and caring for them. Three of my children are diagnosed with ADHD, and two of them are diagnosed with ASD.  We are definitely a neurospicy family, and despite enforcing a strict schedule, no day is ever the same!
With my volunteer background of caring for children, combined with raising my own, I am confident in the care I can provide for your children and the help I can provide Ms. Annie and Ms. Nicole. I have spent some time with all of the students over the last three days. They are a beautiful, witty, smart, and fun group of children. I am sure with continued guidance and teaching from Coronado Elementary and your unconditional love and support, these kids will grow to do great things. I feel lucky to be part of their journey. Please say “hi” if you see me around!

Sincerely,
Ms. Abi

Miss Taylor – Speech-Language Pathologist

Hi, my name is Taylor Wickey, and I’m a speech-language pathologist located in Golden, Colorado. I own a speech therapy business in Golden and serve students who benefit from movement+speech at Nature Speech, Aquatic Speech, and Speech Gym locations. I also partner with preschools in the area and am at Coronado 2 days a week, working alongside students with communication needs. I’ve worked with students of all ages in the school, aquatic, nature, telehealth, private practice, daycare, and home health settings. In my free time, I am working with students and families at United Rocks, Parent Run Club, and have been a coach for Girls on the Run. I also take weekly ASL classes and use signs often in my instruction. I am excited to be at Coronado this year, working with your children!

Mr. Starr – Speech-Language Pathologist

Hello, my name is Justin Starr, and I am a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I have had the privilege of serving students with their speech needs for 15 years.  I live in the Green Mountain area of Lakewood, I am married, and we have two daughters (sophomore/senior) at Green Mountain High School.  I was assigned to support Coronado this school year, and it is an honor to be able to serve your students’ speech and/or language needs.  I look forward to continuing to build rapport with your student and helping them grow towards meeting their speech goals.
