Our students had a fantastic time wrapping up our very first unit. They have done a wonderful job exploring our classroom space, building a sense of belonging, making new friends, and learning how to navigate big feelings, separation anxiety, and a brand-new school routine.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Important Reminders<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>1. After-Dismissal Building Access &amp; Restrooms:&nbsp;<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We love seeing families connect on the playground while waiting for older siblings to be dismissed 15 minutes later\u2014please feel free to stay and hang out as long as you like! Please know that we always try our best to encourage children to use the restroom before dismissal. However, because we follow strict CDE Early Childhood licensing and compliance guidelines, our preschool classrooms and indoor spaces are <\/span><b>not accessible <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for restroom use after dismissal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We know unexpected moments happen! If your child urgently needs a restroom after 2:45 PM, please follow our <\/span><b>main building visitor protocols:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Enter through the main entrance. <\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Stop by the main office to sign in as a visitor and grab a &#8220;Visitor&#8221; badge.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Accompany your child to the main hall restroom.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Sign out in the main office when you are finished.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These steps help us maintain important safety and accountability procedures, so we<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> always<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> know who is in the building during an emergency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>2. Chilly Mornings &amp; Dangerously Cold &#8220;Blue Flag&#8221; Days:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the weather turns chilly, here is how morning drop-off works:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p><b>Wait in your car:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Rather than entering the building early, feel free to wait comfortably in your vehicle until 8:15 AM. At that time, simply have your child enter through their usual external door while you sign them in.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please be at your child&#8217;s <\/span><b>external preschool door by 8:15 AM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> so you can officially <\/span><b>sign them in\/drop them off<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the day.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>3. Clothing Donations Welcome:&nbsp;<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As our little ones are busy learning and playing, accidents and spills can happen\u2014sometimes requiring a few outfit changes a day! We would love to have a few extra, gently used t-shirts and loose-fitting bottoms (no leggings, please), as well as new socks and new underwear (sizes <\/span><b>4T\u20135T<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Thank you so much for your generosity!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>4.
